Editorial Policy

This page explains how TechNewsNest decides what to publish, where our information comes from and what happens when we get something wrong.

Who is responsible

Muhammad Irfan, the founder of TechNewsNest, is responsible for everything published on the site. If a post is written by a guest writer, their name appears on it.

Where our information comes from

We start with primary sources: official company blogs, press releases, help center pages, app store release notes and statements from the company itself. When a story is based on another publication’s reporting, we name that publication and link to it.

Rumors and leaks

Leaks are part of tech news, but we label them. If a feature is still in testing or the company hasn’t confirmed it, the post says so near the top.

Checking before we publish

Before a story goes live, we check names, dates, version numbers and prices against the source. When a feature is rolling out slowly or only in some countries, we say that too.

Corrections and updates

Tech news changes fast. When a company changes its plans or we find a mistake, we update the post and change the “Updated” date at the top. If the mistake changed the meaning of the story, we add a short note saying what we corrected. You can report an error through our Contact page.

Independence

Advertisers and sponsors don’t decide what we cover or what we say about it. Sponsored posts and paid guest posts carry a “Sponsored” label so you can tell them apart from our own reporting. More on our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure page.

Images

We use official images from company press pages (with credit where the company asks for it), screenshots and images we make ourselves.
