Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. This page lists the cookies TechNewsNest uses or may use, and how you can control them.

Cookies we set ourselves

  • Comment cookies: if you tick “Save my name, email, and website in this browser” when you comment, WordPress keeps those details for one year so you don’t have to type them again.
  • Login cookies: used only by the site’s editors when they sign in to WordPress.

Your dark or light mode choice

The sun and moon button remembers your choice in your browser’s local storage. It isn’t a cookie, and it never gets sent to us.

Analytics cookies

When Google Analytics is active, it sets cookies such as _ga to count visits and see which pages people read. These cookies don’t tell us who you are.

Advertising cookies

When ads from Google AdSense are active, Google and its partners may set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure how ads perform. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings.

Affiliate cookies

If you click an affiliate link, the store you visit may set a cookie so it knows the visit came from us. That cookie belongs to the store, not to TechNewsNest.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Security. If you block all cookies, some things won’t work, such as saving your details for the comment form.

For more about how we handle personal information, read our Privacy Policy.
